White House Hits Back At Giuliani
Source: TPM
White House spokesman Eric Schultz on Thursday dismissed former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's (R) comment that President Obama doesn't love America.
During the president's flight to Chicago, Schultz told reporters that Giuliani used the same attack during his "fleeting 2007 run for the presidency."
On Wednesday night, when Giuliani commented on Obama's patriotism, he acknowledged that his statement was controversial.
"I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America," he said. Schultz said he agreed with Giuliani that it was a "horrible" statement to make about Obama.

I hope you wind up running some CON's campaign for president - what with the genius job YOU did on YOURS! You're the one who decided not to get into the brickbat business until the Florida primary, when presumably you could just parachute in from on high, unruffled by the rough play in the earlier primaries, and snatch the prize while the other miserable grubs down below were still mud-wrestling over the crumbs, and you wouldn't even have to get your lily-white hands dirty. And as usual, you miscalculated, and banked too much on your whole "a noun, a verb, and 9-11" thing.
And by the time we all got to the Florida primary, the decision had been made and the herd had been culled, and you were finished before you could even get dressed and emerge from the bedroom.

(10,252 posts)and Giuliani is disgusting for saying it. And he knows better. He's not running for POTUS, so why did he say it? To get in the MSM news? Because today he has an excess of vitriol? He just can't get the slime out of his system fast enough, can he? I put him in the same category as Trump -- disgusting.

(2,529 posts)He thought he had the Republican candidacy in his back pocket in 2008. The Republican establishment was on his side, and FOX news gushed over him, featuring him often and always introducing him as "America's mayor, Rudy Giuliani." Their anointed one crashed and burned spectacularly.
