Reports: Officer who used Taser on senior citizen cleared
By Dana Thompson | March 13, 2015 | Updated: March 13, 2015 7:31pm

According to reports, a grand jury has decided not to indict a former Victoria policeman who used a Taser on a man in his 70s.

The decision on Officer Nathanial Robinson was made on Friday afternoon, KTRK and KPRC report.

Robinson was fired in January for using a stun gun on a 76-year-old man. The termination came less than a month after a video from his patrol car on Dec. 11 garnered international attention.

Robinson stopped Pete Vasquez for an expired vehicle inspection sticker, and video captured Robinson grabbing Vasquez's arm and pushing him onto the police cruiser.

Of course he "had" to use a taser based on what was not on camera. I wonder if they interviewed the witnesses to come to this conclusion or simply talked to the cop? Gee, let me think. Even if they talked to the witnesses, witnesses are notoriously unreliable while Police Officers are not?

The footage didn't show what happened between the two after falling on the ground. Robinson attorney Greg Cagle said Vasquez kicked the officer and that the level of resistance was a basis for using the stun gun and arresting Vasquez.

Bull. Shit.

Like I tell my kids: Don't give 'em a reason. Because that's what they are looking for. A reason.

...we're just useless chattel now. And since we hire psychopaths and morons on police forces as a standard rule in this county, this is the result.

Likewise, since most cops lack any initiative of their own, it follows that the upper echelons must condone all this police violence. So it's also obvious (at least to me) that they have they own agendas. Because it was never about protecting us.

- It was always about protecting them from us.......
