Last time it was "oh, WE'RE not the GOP, those lying sleazy criminals. WE'RE the "INDEPENDENT Republicans!"

Lessee, if memory serves they went bankrupt, took a bunch of bribes-- er-- "underwriting" from the lying sleazy criminals at national GOP headquarters, released the Crazy Virus, and eventually ended up safely back under mommy's wing.

I'm betting they're a one-trick pony.

Any book on what the "new" name will be?

"Minnesota Christian Libertarian Republican Party" has a nice ring to it. MCLRP. Pronounced, "emklurp."

Heheheh... maybe I should take a flyer on the domain name, just in case.

amusedly,
Bright

Jesus.

As one of the commenters posted, these are the free market evangelists and they can't even manage life in the private sector.

In Minnesota, the big "star" in their ranks is Al Franken.
'Nuff said.

In the GOP, their "star" is Michelle "Cuckoo For Coco-Puffs" Bachmann.
Says it all.

It has been horrible for the last two years of MN GOP control the House and Senate and acting like bullies and jerks and doing whatever A.L.E.C has wanted.

It has a been a little silver lining. I almost can't wait for the next elections to see them get voted out of office.

The eviction action follows a series of revelations last winter regarding debts accrued by the party during the reign of former RPM Chairman Tony Sutton. In December, an internal review of finances revealed that the party owes $1.23 million to creditors, plus more than $700,000 in legal fees accrued during the 2010 gubernatorial recount, and is facing possible fines from the Federal Elections Commission for undisclosed debts. The party is also currently being investigated by the state campaign finance board.

Most don't have a whole lot of money coming in, especially in non-election years.

I have a teensy tiny bit of sympathy for them. Just a little bit. HOWEVER, this has gone way too far. $96,000???
