Hackers breach gov’t security, personnel agencies
Source: AP
WASHINGTON (AP) The Associated Press has learned that the Obama administration is scrambling to assess the impact of a massive data breach involving the agency that handles security clearances and employee records.
A congressional aide familiar with the situation, who declined to be named because he was not authorized to discuss it, says the Office of Personnel Management and the Interior Department were hacked. A second U.S. official who also declined to be identified said the data breach could potentially affect every federal agency.
The White House was considering a public announcement of the breach Thursday night or Friday morning, the second official said.
The Office of Personnel Management is the human resources department for the federal government, and issues security clearances.

I guess government has to start regulating itself? But aren't all government in-house policies and procedures government "regulations"?
HRC's server would have been secure by accident. If nobody knows it's there, it's unhackable. It's like having robbers rob an unmarked grave. Not likely.

Oh, rats- they're dying off now too...
With no fanfare compared to the warriors getting honor flights.

I for one, would like to know more about a past breach with China in 2001, headed up by Jeb Bush and then state rep Tom Feeney. This was about selling our missile technology to China under the table! I asked why Jeb would do this to our country, and the response was "for money". One of our FDOT officers, former military was murdered over this too. This was never written about, but unearthed by an investigative reporter in the panhandle. Every Floridian should read this! Stop Jeb now!
