Rival challenges Clinton to say where she stands on trade

WASHINGTON (AP) Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is urging Democratic presidential rival Hillary Rodham Clinton to say exactly where she stands on President Barack Obama's trade agenda.
Sanders says if Clinton is against the trade proposal, opponents need her to speak out against it "right now."
Sanders says he doesn't understand how any candidate could lack an opinion on giving the president "fast track" negotiating authority and the proposed trade deal with 12 Pacific Rim nations. He opposes both.
The House is set to vote Friday on the "fast-track" trade authority.

We are in Iowa. Her staff is working us hard. I keep asking what her position is on TPP, TTIP and TISA. They tell me she is waiting to see the treaty. I say we've seen enough to know there are some killer clauses in there.
Coming out against it after it has passed is bad strategy.

(15,727 posts)to examine the data and their donors viewpoint to see where she stands. He can't expect other people to have opinions and say what they are off the cuff. Look at how long it took for Obama's opinions on gays to evolve. Or Bill Clintons for that matter.

(34,582 posts)Pres. Obama came out in support of marriage equality during his re-election campaign. He evolved, just like I have. He could have vacillated, but he didn't. That took guts.

(1,370 posts)There are a lot of questions about our corrupt fraudulent economic system Hillary is going to try and avoid... She's taking a whole lot of money from Wall Street and the global corporations who not only like the system the way it is, but want to increase their control and profit....She has three choices, she can continue to avoid the question. Betray her corporate/ Wall Street backers, or lie to the public..
Get out your lie detectors!!!
