Majlis votes to 'preserve nuclear achievements'

Source: Tehran Times

Iranian MPs on Wednesday agreed to give priority to addressing a plan that would oblige the government to preserve the nuclear rights and achievements.

The move was passed with 185 yeas, two nays, and four abstentions.

MP Mohammad Hassan Asafari said on the sidelines of the Majlis session that the plan stresses the removal of all sanctions the very day a nuclear agreement is signed.

Furthermore, the International Atomic Energy Agency would be able only to have regular inspections of Iran’s nuclear facilities and it would not be given access to military or security sites, the MP said.

According to the plan, the Islamic Republic will not be limited in using nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, the lawmaker stated.

But the way I understood it, it means that the Iranian govt use of peaceful nuclear technology would not be limited. Then again, I truly hope they are lying cos a nuclear weapon is the only thing that would stop the west from invading.

If it doesnt then they should have no problem allowing access for inspectors to check out all their facilities including their military facilities to confirm their claim otherwise it would raise some red flags that they are not being honest.
As for the west invading Iran I just dont see that happening at all especially not after the blunder the US and its allies made in Iraq and considering even Iran is apparently trying help stop those nutjobs who are running around killing people in Iraq atm in the name of religion.
