Geraldo Rivera blows his stack when Dan Savage slams Fox: ‘Fxck you jerk off’

Source: Raw Story

Geraldo Rivera issued a tart retort Thursday night to Dan Savage – who claimed Fox News would trash Bristol Palin for becoming pregnant a second time out of wedlock if she were not a conservative.

“If Bristol Palin’s last name was ‘Obama,’ the whole Hee Haw gang at Fox News would spend half of every day for the next nine months telling us that Bristol Obama has terrible parents,” Savage argued in a column posted online.

Rivera, the Fox News personality, strongly disagreed with Savage’s speculative point about the paid abstinence spokeswoman, reported Mediaite.

“fxck you jerk off. Fox news doesn’t have a reaction to anyone’s pregnancy,” Rivera tweeted.

with a straight face.

And fuck Geraldo for trying to play the "reasonable" man on Fox last week when all of the attempts to deny that Roop was motivated by racism got too uncomfortable even for him. He's gleefully participated in the demonization of black Americans en masse over the past few years on Fox. It's a bit late to turn back from that.

That was a low point, even for THEM, wasn't it?

Referring to a Harvard-educated lawyer, and wife of a U.S. Senator as his "baby mama" because she's black? Really, Fox, you were already lower than a snake's belly. I didn't think you could go any lower.

And yes, I have no doubt that if Sasha Obama got pregnant, we'd have to listen to Charles Krauthammer, George Will and Britt Hume grumbling and sneering for WEEKS about "the decline of morality in the African American family unit" and how it is all the fault of "liberal democrat" social policies.

that Mr. Savage is exactly right, that he himself is a has been hack who has sold himself to the highest bidder, and that he is an old fart who is only attractive to his much younger wife before he has some money. Talk about trying to remain relevant!

Warning, not for the faint of heart, or right before or after a meal)

Savage, the syndicated sex columnist, has been Santorum's No. 1 nemesis for 12 years, ever since Savage launched the world's most famous Google bomb against the former senator and turned his name into a sexual neologism.

Santorum's Google problem began in 2003, when he compared homosexuality to bestiality and pedophilia, saying the "definition of marriage" has never included "man on child, man on dog, or whatever the case may be." The ensuing controversy prompted Savage, who's gay, to start a contest, asking readers to propose slang terms to "memorialize the scandal."

The winner suggested giving Santorum's name to describe "the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex." Savage launched a website, www.spreadingsantorum.com, and a meme was born. Though mainstream news outlets would never link to it, Savage's site rose in the Google rankings, thanks in part to bloggers who posted Santorum-related news on the site or linked to it from their blogs. Eventually Savage's site eclipsed Santorum's own campaign site in search results. This meant that when folks searching for information on Santorum Googled that name, they turned up Savage's site, not Santorum's. Some observers suggested Savage's stunt may have contributed to Santorum's crushing 18-point defeat in his 2006 campaign against Bob Casey.

Santorum's efforts to get Google to take the site down or at least to bury it in the rankings not only failed, but generated more ridicule (not to mention more links, which then kept the site high in the Google rankings).

we awaited the young Geraldo Rivera's reportage about the Kennedy assassination and the REAL plot...he breathlessly said every week that he was inching closer to the real deal...the week before the big announcement he said that it would rock the world...

We came running back from the library to watch the show, I believe it was Hugh Downs' "Goodnight America"...Geraldo stated glumly: the story doesn't exist, the Warren Commission was right, now go to sleep. (Paraphrasing of course)

Someone definitely got to him...IMO of course.
