Gov. Scott Walker speaks at the Road to Majority 2015 convention on Saturday night in Washington.

Gov. Scott Walker says that, if he were president, repealing President Barack Obama’s health care law would be a priority in his first 100 days in office.

Walker made the comments Thursday on FOX News’ “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”

The point of discussion was this week’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling that upheld the federal government’s use of tax subsidies to working- and middle-class families to buy health coverage under the law.

Walker said the ruling shows the next president must be someone who would push for a full repeal of the law. Van Susteren asked Walker how he would dismantle the law if he were president.

“What I learned from four years ago when I first started as governor, you’ve got to push big, bold reforms early. So I would work with the next Congress to find that position within the first 60 to 100 days,” Walker said. “One of the first acts would be to push through a change that would fully repeal Obamacare.”

The next step, Walker said, would be to replace it with a health care law that “allows patients (to) be in charge of their healthcare decisions” and “lets the market drive things.”

America. Neither the workforce nor the insurance companies would put up with that especially if the removal of ACA was a campaign issue, then Sander's policy on single-payer would be very popular. People remember how premiums continued to rise and a refund was given in 2012 and 2013. People knew they were being ripped off by the insurance companies.

This college drop out could never make it on his own, so he sells his soul to corrupt corporatists to fulfill his empty political ambitions. If this puppet ever get close to the presidency we are headed for the dark ages.

We deserve to be treated just as crappy as Wisconsin has been. Lower wages, lower self-esteem and no health care. What a great thing to vote for. Still wondering about the morons in Wisconsin who think he's all that and a bag of chips.

Very hard to go against unlimited funds available to Walker from the Kochs. We tried out damnest but came up short. Walker played his cards very well and appealed to the lowest instincts of many voters, made them hate public workers then teachers all based on "they (pw and teachers) have more than we do."

President. If a candidate said they would end SS or medicare, there would zero chance of getting elected.

I'm just wondering if by the time the election actually happens in approximately 17 months that saying a candidate will end Obamacare will be a death sentence for that candidate.

...and not just on the issue of the ACA. I'd emphasize Walker was speaking at the Faith & Freedom Coalition's event and invoking the market, as does the F&FC's website itself, which would run afoul of Jesus's admonition against trying to serve Mammon and God at the same time.

Moving on to other things, the F&FC's list of past events includes apparently proud mention of both Jim Bob Duggar and now disgraced Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell.
