The Donald Trump co-owned Miss Universe Organization has taken a lot of heat recently thanks to Trump's controversial comments critical of Latin American immigrants.
The presidential candidate and NBCUniversal co-own the organization, which owns Miss Universe, Miss USA and the 51 state (plus D.C.) feeder pageants.
One of those feeder pageants, Miss Florida USA, will crown its 2016 winner Saturday at Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale.
Current Miss Florida USA, 24-year-old Ashleigh Lollie, will represent the Sunshine State Sunday in New Orleans for the Miss USA 2015 pageant. Both NBC and Univision have cut ties with Miss USA and Miss Universe in wake of Trump's comments. Both pageants will now air exclusively on the Reelz Channel.
