Graham To Bloomberg: Iran Deal 'Akin To Declaring War On Israel'

Source: TPM/Bloomberg

GOP presidential hopeful and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told Bloomberg on Monday morning that the Iran nuclear deal announced by President Obama is “akin to declaring war on Israel."

Graham said the deal, a mutual agreement between Iran, China, France, Russia, Britain, the U.S. and Germany, wouldn’t be upheld if he was elected next year.

“If the initial reports regarding the details of this deal hold true, there’s no way as president of the United States I would honor this deal,” Graham told Bloomberg. “It’s incredibly dangerous for our national security, and it’s akin to declaring war on Sunni Arabs and Israel by the P5+1 because it ensures their primary antagonist Iran will become a nuclear power and allows them to rearm conventionally.”

There is "no chance" for the deal to pass Congress, he told Bloomberg.

This deal is a loser for the Military-Industrial Complex. No longer will they milk U.S. taxpayers for unneeded wars and violent military solutions.

Anyway it doesn't really matter what he or his warmonger buddies or NutandYahoo want.. there wont be enough votes for a veto override. This is a done deal.
