Christie: Obama ‘Should Have Walked Away’ From Iran Deal

Source: TPM

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said on Monday that President Barack Obama “should have walked away” from Monday’s deal to rein in Iran’s nuclear program.

In a statement posted to Twitter, Christie said the deal was preceded by “two years of humiliating concessions by President Obama” and led to Obama playing “a dangerous game” with national security.

“The deal as structured will lead to a nuclear Iran and, then, a nuclearized Middle East,” the statement read.

The Republican presidential hopeful urged Congress to override Obama’s threatened veto.

improvements needed to carry traffic between NJ and NYC, shows that he is incredibly stupid and short sided.

As to foreign policy, he has absolutely no background - where Kerry has decades; as to nuclear physics, Moniz was an MIT professor in the field and Christie would likely have not passed a course he gave.

If their pat talking point was even remotely true then the deal wouldn't have taken 2 years to negotiate.
After all, their talking points are saying we conceded every step of the way.

While the other major world powers sitting at the very same table that all imposed crippling sanctions - kind of contrary, that little FACT- all tried to keep Obama from giving away the farm, and failed and also caved????

And the UN is praising this "giveaway", as are all the very same world major powers because...reasons.

They all caved!

Bizarro World logic.

The American public is very much in favor of a deal with Iran. And that's even though less than 50% of Americans are aware that Israel has the bomb.

It would be awfully helpful if some significant American leader would simply state that Israel has nuclear weapons and is not a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, while Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and has no nuclear weapons. Why, precisely, aren't we implementing severe sanctions on Israel? The IAEA doesn't get to go anywhere near their facilities...

All republicans politicians are in bed with Israel. If we did nothing, wouldn't Iran still have the weapons grade plutonium to be made into bombs? I can't understand the logic, do nothing because it will change makes ZERO sense.

We're tired of wasting billions of dollars on pointless wars. If you want to wage war with the Iranians, go put on the uniform and fight there yourself. Meanwhile, the rest of us will be busy trying to actually improve this country, including helping the less fortunate.
