It seems that someone Hollywood is actually paying attention to real-world events and is taking initiative to make movies about things that actually matter. At Comic-Con this weekend, Sylvester Stallone, star of the Rambo franchise, confirmed that the latest and presumably final installment of the Vietnam vet revenge fantasy will take the title character will travel to Syria, where he will single-handedly fight (and obviously defeat) ISIS. Stallone is set to write, direct and star in this important cinematic event.

“With Rambo V, Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role as John Rambo,” reads a statement. “This time he returns to the Middle East to battle the greatest threat facing the world today, global terrorism.”

So, get ready for a 2016 blockbuster featuring a greasy, aging war hero shooting up camps of powerful Muslim extremists who will surely feel super threatened by the American might conveyed in Stallone’s bizarre pretend bravado.

Assuming of course he doesnt insist on doing his own stunts for the movie in which case it might take longer to finish as he has a habit of injuring himself and at his age he will probably take alot longer to recover.

They generally play the same part regardless of the movie. They're always portraying some tough guy who shoots them up, blows them up and/or beats them up? You have Sly Stallone, Arnold Schwarznegger, Chuck Norris, John Wayne, Jon Voight and on and on.

Your outspoken liberals seem to play in a variety of movies featuring distinctly different character-types, like Tom Hanks, Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman, etc.
