Donald Trump campaign misfires after Nazi pic gets tweeted out by intern
Source: Toronto Star
Donald Trump unofficially kicked off open season for the Republican primaries when he became one of the first candidates to blame an intern for a Twitter gaffe.
This tried-and-true political maneuver occurred after a historian noticed that Trumps latest campaign picture included images of German Waffen-SS troops marching on the White House lawn.
The tweet, sent from @realDonaldTrump, showed a picture of Trumps face superimposed onto the stars of the American flag, beside a picture of soldiers marching on the White House lawn.
John Schindler, a military historian, noticed the picture on Twitter when a follower asked him if it might contain German, not American soldiers.

(5,082 posts)Do not underestimate the treachery and power of the Bush Family, fools. They use other candidates to position their own better. They use spoilers and they manipulate opponents like Trump. Yes he is his own trainwreck but he makes Bush look better. Why do you think his father picked Quayle other than his connection to Eli Lilly. And who props up Jeb most of all right when he's losing and needs it? Hillary Clinton! She's always trying to make him relevant even when faux attacking him. Both Clintons have been repeatedly stated as honorary Bush family members and both gloated in it in response. Those families are colluding and if Clinton gets nomination them the Bushes have neutralized the NEPOTISM disadvantage. Pathetic, evil and cunning. Expect no less.
