Mike Huckabee: 10-year-old rape victim should be forced to carry rapist’s baby

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee argued over the weekend that a 10-year-old girl should have been forced to carry her pregnancy to term after she was raped. During an interview on Sunday, CNN host Dana Bash asked the GOP candidate if he would refuse an abortion to a 10-year-old girl in Paraguay, who was allegedly raped by her stepfather.
“Creating one problem that is horrible — let nobody be misled, a 10-year-old girl being raped is horrible — but does it solve a problem by taking the life of an innocent child?” Huckabee said. “And that’s really the issue.”
The former Arkansas governor recalled that he had known a man who was born as the result of a rape after doctors in Texas refused to give his mother an abortion.
“Today, his organization feeds, cares for and brings living capacity for water to hundreds of thousands of people across the world,” Huckabee noted. “That would never have happened… So when I think about one horror, I also think about the possibilities.”

I thought some may have thought the girl died. I do know that happens. We are on the same page and support the same thing.
I would guess it's pretty stretched out by now.

And of course: Willful Stupidity (I made that up as a logical fallacy but I think it applies to the special case of Mike Huckabee.)
Why is it so often those who won't get pregnant, can't get pregnant (like Huckabee and the rest of the boys in the "Old Repugs Club" , or are beyond the age where one can get pregnant (in the case of Carly and other anti-woman women) who believe they have the right to set the standards for what is acceptable in the wonderful world of rape? Forcing a child to bear a child because it would be more traumatic somewhere down the road for her to have aborted the rapist's "deposit" (or gift from god if you think like The Huck)? Give me a fucking break! Forcing a child - or a grown-up woman for that matter - to carry within her the abomination that is the rapist's fetal "gift," is sick, perverted, twisted, and totally, utterly cruel. It is woman-hating in its highest form. It is not compassion for the unborn fetus, nor is it charity, love, or anything else that's caring and humane for the victim. It is, essentially, an every-sperm-is-sacred philosophy that fails to take into consideration anyone's feelings other than those of the rapist, and the (predominantly) white men who so want to save and protect the unborn. Why?
A girl of any age, much less a woman, is just a uterus walking around waiting to be inseminated by any passing animal.
Preacher Huckabee, your god is a horrible god. Preacher Huckabee, kindly go do something anatomically impossible to yourself and leave the female half of the human race alone.
My take on The Preacher and all his ilk is that they are so ideologically rigid and blind that they would force the female to go through with it regardless of her own feelings on the matter. He'd just pray on it and pat himself on the back for his ability to rise above her sins.
In a different time he would definitely have made a different decision in order to hush it up and avoid the shame to the family. Again, regardless of the female's feelings on the matter.
It's all about him and his feelings, and of course his horrible mysogynistic god.
If you really gave a shit about human life in the US, you'd be fighting for single-payer.
