US Democratic Senator Stabenow backs Iran nuclear deal

WASHINGTON - US President Barack Obama on Monday picked up the support of another Democratic senator for the Iran nuclear deal as Debbie Stabenow of Michigan announced that she will vote to allow the pact to go ahead.

"I have determined that the imminent threat of Iran having a nuclear weapon outweighs any flaws I see in the international agreement. For this reason, I must support the agreement," Stabenow said in a statement.

Additionally, I expect Cardin, Heitkamp, Murray and Cantwell to come off the fence in favor of it.

I expect Rand Wyden, Coons, and Corey "Leave Bain Alone" Booker to come out against it.

AIPAC's influence for Menendez and more that he opposes Prez O's Cuba policy, so this is a way of showing his displeasure generally. He's like a petulant GOPer - or is that redundant?

He's a crook anyway. Hope that he soon is ousted one way or another.
