Barack Obama, Scott Walker spar in Labor Day comments

President Barack Obama didnt mention Gov. Scott Walker or any of the other 2016 GOP presidential candidates by name during a Labor Day speech at a union rally in Boston on Monday, but the target of at least one barb was clear.
The president, invoking a number of Republican hopefuls policies to challenge claims that they care about workers, remarked incredulously that one GOP candidate had said busting unions prepared him to fight ISIL, an acronym for the Islamic State group.
Walker said earlier this year that facing 100,000 protesters at the state Capitol over his collective bargaining changes which greatly curtailed public worker unions clout prepares him to confront the terrorist threat posed by the Islamic State. He also signed a right-to-work law banning labor contracts that make it mandatory for workers to pay union fees.
Walker, while campaigning in New Hampshire on Monday, addressed the presidents comments, defending the collective bargaining overhaul as good for taxpayers and right-to-work as good for workers.
This is not unexpected. I think the president and his allies fear us more than anybody else in this race because they know we dont just talk about it, we get it done, Walker said, according to his campaign.

Election after election, endless campaign after endless campaign, the serious business of electing the leader of the free world is turning into a freak show that is freaking out the free world.
We have seen this kind of xenophobia and insanity in a militarized nation before.
