California Republicans are ripping Scott Walkers last-minute decision to cancel as the keynote speaker of the state partys convention next weekend as short-sighted and the latest sign of a candidacy in chaos.
Walkers abrupt withdrawal left state party leaders scrambling to find a replacement they ultimately had to settle for former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton and a host of activists and donors in one of the nations richest states disappointed at best, and angry at worst.
Nothing says your campaign is in a downward spiral like when you skip literally hundreds of activists across the state who have bought tickets to see you speak, said Jon Fleischman, a former executive director and former vice chair of the California Republican Party.
Generally, people are understanding, Fleischman added wryly, that the guys campaign is imploding.

(1,905 posts)it's going to be the biggest surprise of his life. The guy is in permanent campaign mode and is nothing more than a crook who has learned to scam the political system. When I lived in Milwaukee County, his biggest games plan were to screw county union workers out of their pension and work on getting re-elected. Wisconsin was a good union state when I first got there, but the conservanazis on hate radio basically changed all that. Now, I know many of the union members I worked with loved the racist conservanazi propaganda and voted for the fascists. Now, they are getting what they deserve. He's a bag man for the kocksucker brothers.

(3,544 posts)Well, so much for the few hundred stupid people. This guy supports the destruction of the middle class. I hope he goes down as the worst governor ever. Get him the hell out of the race. The GOP's true colors are coming through brightly.
