LACONIA, N.H. — Hillary Rodham Clinton is warning congressional Republicans not to shut down the federal government over an effort to block funding for Planned Parenthood.

Clinton says in a statement that the Republican presidential field pledged to defund Planned Parenthood in Wednesday’s second GOP debate and continued a “race to the bottom” on issues of women’s health and rights.

The Democratic presidential candidate says House Speaker John Boehner and his Republican colleagues “have a job to do, and they should do it.”..........
