WASHINGTON (AP) — Here's the latest news on the 2016 race for president. (All times local):

12:35 p.m.

There's no debate about it for Bernie Sanders.

Any chance there will be more than the six debates already sanctioned by the Democratic National Committee?

"I have the feeling that there will be," the Vermont senator tells CBS' "Face the Nation."

FULL story at link.

And if it reaches that point, she's kinda toast.

who should not be in politics.

Now, if you include republicans, she wouldn't ever make the top one hundred.

I'd like to see O'Malley, Bernie and others make a deal with CSPAN and other Networks. And have the League of Women Voters modorate them. If Hillary is too afraid to participate, she doesn't have to. In other words opt out of DNC debates that we already know, will be a freak show, favoring Hillary.

She can debate herself with DNC debates as she has taken all positions on everything.

Go ahead, Bernie, debate with O'Malley, Webb, Chafee, and anyone else who is interested in explaining their positions, take those fucking sanctions, and leave Hillary to debate by herself in the official DNC debates. Wouldn't that be awesome!? I so hope he's negotiating behind the scenes with the other candidates to do so.

I don't think Bernie wants to do that just yet.

After all, the DNC may come to its senses and decide to put Party funds at the service of the candidate who runs away with the nomination....and all the votes!

Bernie wants to give them some time to mull over their choices...between the frying pan and the fire.

The DNC is limited to giving a grand total of $5,000 to the nominee. It can give money to the STATE Parties, but of course people here don't trust the "establishment" Party people either.

Guess Bernie will have to raise his own money (like every other Democratic nominee in the past 50 years) or accept Federal campaign financing, in which case he'll be outspent 3-1 by the Republicans.

Get with O'Malley and do more debates. O'Malley has been pushing this for a long time now, and if Bernie really is serious about more debates they can make it happen.
