French TV SLAMS Conservatives For Politicizing Paris Attacks: ‘Newt Gingrich, Shame On You’ (VIDEO)

Source: addictinginfo.org

Author: Jameson Parker November 13, 2015 11:20 pm

....................

French media put on a master class in how to conduct responsible, measured journalism in the face of chaos and fear. At the forefront was France 24, a network that brought continuous coverage of the ongoing terror attacks to viewers both in the country and to the rest of the world. Occasionally, they would offer perspectives from across the world, showing tweets and messages of well wishes from those across the planet hurting right along with France. Unfortunately, they also stumbled across America’s aforementioned right-wing sewage dump.

Wasting no time, conservatives spent the night competing with each other to say the most offensive, idiotic things they could about the attacks – ........

Mother Jones compiled a list of some of the worst offenders. Many of the usual suspects were there:.........

Newt Gingrich

@newtgingrich

Imagine a theater with 10 or 15 citizens with concealed carry permits. We live in an age when evil men have to be killed by good people

..............After seeing Gingrich’s pitiful stab at turning France’s tragedy into a way to sell more American guns, France 24’s Mark Owen was both baffled and outraged.

“So he’s using this atrocity to make his point [that] people should be able to carry guns basically. It’s funny how people will very distastefully use this kind of situation to express their own particular political [inaudible]. Newt Gingrich, shame on you.”

and had to turn it after some "terrorism expert" with ears the size of Dumbo's came on and started callously castigating the French for not taking seriously the Charlie Hebdo attack and blatantly used this tragedy to scare American viewers. It was like the post-Sept. 11 Bush years all over again.

It's easier to deal with the stupid ones, and there are plenty of them on the right, but it's the smart ones that I am worrying about.

He's obviously hoping to pick up both Trump's and Carson's fans social and religious conservatives. Interesting that Trump's long diatribe the other day attacked every candidate but Cruz. Result of just a particularly successful suckup job or possibly a chosen successor?

Thank heavens the GOP elites hate him.

And I believe the reason they're superior is because the slime-covered, decrepit, sell-his-children-for-the-right-price Rupert Murdoch doesn't own it.
Or other corporate soul-less entities that have a stranglehold on "news" here in the USA., for that matter.
At least not yet, anyway.

The first and only evil gunner opens fire;
The second (first good guy) responds quickly;
The third and fourth (also good guys) respond to the first two shooters;
Five, six, and seven (also all good guys) respond to the first four shooters;
Etc., etc., etc.; until there are several wounded and a few dead.
The police arrive and have no idea that any of the shooters are "good guys" and take out all the rest of the shooters.

that the reasonable idea of having this not be a gun laden shootout range has to get support from overseas rather than within?

the gop is an embarassing stain on our flag of freedom and rational government.

i could add pathetic, knuckle dragging cretins, but i will try and play nice...

France has the largest Muslim population in Europe, around 5M people. It would not be wise for the media to fan the flames and incite more violence.

As for the conservatives, their responses are predictable.
