Chris Christie: U.S. shouldn't let in Syrian orphans

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie doesn’t want any Syrian refugees let into the United States — not even if they're orphaned toddlers.

“I don’t think orphans under 5 are being, you know, should be admitted into the United States at this point. But you know, they have no family here. How are we going to care for these folks?” Christie said in an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt Monday.

“The fact is, you can come up with a number of different scenarios, Hugh. But in the end, I don’t trust this administration to effectively vet the people that they’re asking us to take in. We need to put the safety and security of the American people first,” Christie continued.

A man who would turn his back on infants and toddlers because of his own cowardice simply is unfit to be president.

Are Republicans so far gone that even they can't see that?

Their mother's could have radicalized them reading the Koran to them in the womb! Gives a new meaning to sleeper cells...in this case those could be cradles, LOL! Better refurbish those toll booths into border check points.

Christie is disgraceful in his abject race to outpander the competition.

Sad considering how many otherwise reasonable people in my state thought him a real leader in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

That is a rare enough thing these days that it won him a great deal of admiration--for a short time at least.

But practiced it by funneling relief funds into other projects and pad his budget to look good. His empathy vanished when the filming stopped.

It's only a matter of time before another GOP bozo does though. It makes me, an atheist, hope for a second coming just to watch some of these people get slapped up side the head.
