2 Air France flights diverted over security incidents

Air France Flight 65, headed from Los Angeles to Paris, was diverted to Salt Lake City, Utah, due to a security incident, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said.

CNN reported that another flight from the Washington, D.C., area to Paris was diverted to Canada and landed safely.

A bomb threat was called in from the ground, a U.S. government official said about the Flight 65.

FAA spokesman Allen Kenitzer did not provide further details.

Flight from Dulles was a Boeing - 777. It it programmed to resume the flight in about an hour.

stir things up. It would be nice if they could find out who made these hoax calls, and throw them in jail
