Supporters cite candidate's $275 billion infrastructure plan as key to economic development

Clinton speaks at Windham town hall Hillary Clinton on Monday was endorsed by seven New Hampshire mayors and mayors-elect, who cited her $275 billion infrastructure plan.

MANCHESTER, N.H. —Seven New Hampshire mayors and mayors-elect on Monday endorsed Hillary Clinton for president, citing her $275 billion infrastructure plan as a much-needed boost for economic development and job creation.

The endorsements are viewed as significant because Clinton is the only major Democratic candidate for president who did not serve as a mayor.

......................................

Endorsing Clinton were Mayors-elect Jim Donchess of Nashua and Jack Blalock of Portsmouth, along with Mayors Jim Bouley of Concord, Dana Hilliard of Somersworth, T.J. Jean of Rochester, Kendall Lane of Keene and Bob Lister of Portsmouth.

They praised her rollout on Sunday of a $275 billion, five-year plan to rebuild and modernize the nation's infrastructure, which she says will be a "down payment on our future."

Clinton’s campaign, which released details of the plan on Monday, said the infrastructure bank would be paid for by so far unspecified adjustments to the business tax code.

13 of the 16 Democratic Governors (81%)
38 of the 44 Democratic Senators (86%)
143 of the 188 Democratic Representatives (76%)

Quite an impressive list of Democrats from all over the country that are now backing her.

in the event Hillary takes the White House. The Clinton style is legendary.

Notice that nobody fears retaliation if Bernie takes the White House, but the evil-doers fear the changes he will make.

It's a form of extortion, isn't it?

She won that primary in 2008 by 10%. NH is tougher because Sanders is senator from neighboring VT.

I think the Socialist tag could hurt Bernie more there, but we'll see.
