Corgi ends up in Hawaii instead of Mississippi
Source: WAPT
An American Airlines passenger's pet took a vacation without him when the corgi was placed on the wrong flight and ended up in Honolulu.
Hawaii News Now reported that Bethany the Pembroke Welsh corgi was headed with her owner from Seattle to their new home in Jackson, Mississippi, on Saturday when she was placed on the wrong connecting flight in Dallas.
When owner Paul Chen found he had made it to his final destination without his pup he reported the dog missing and offered a $1,000 reward.
Bethany left the islands on Monday for Dallas and is scheduled to make her trip to Mississippi in the coming days.

Sometimes these things happen when airpots have similar code names, If I had to take a pet with me cross-country and they couldn't fit under a seat as a carry on, I'd just drive, these incidents are probably why Delta will no fly pets as cargo, it's easier to replace a suitcase of clothes than a pet

(13,466 posts)I couldn't stand for our girl to be "cargo". How horrible the precious little Corgi's owner must have felt not knowing where she was! I am so glad she was ok.
