Exclusive: Turkey gets ready for much less Russian LPG transport gas

Source: Reuters

Turkey wants to cut its reliance on Russian gas used in cars and households, prompted by a growing chill in ties between Ankara and Moscow after the downing of a Russian jet.

It is preparing to cut imports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Russia by a quarter next year, two sources told Reuters. Turkey has the most gas-powered motor transport in the world with 40 percent of its vehicles running on LPG.

U.S. LPG exporters were likely to benefit by making up the shortfall to Turkey, as would producers in Algeria and Nigeria, traders said.

One major Turkish importer said the United States could raise its share in Turkish LPG imports to 12-14 percent in 2016 from 6 percent currently.

You know, the stuff in those thousands of Islamic State tanker trucks that go from Syria and Iraq to Turkey every month? Seems to me that the answer to Turkey's problem is right in front of their faces.

You see, we sell Turkey twice as much LPG as before, Turkey cuts their imports of LPG fro m Russia, joining our own oligarchs in hurting the Russian economy. As some bad guy once said why let a bad situation go to waste. It seems, the US Oligarchy is now using the Turks who kill Kurds and others who have helped us in the middle east to fight Al Qaeda and ISIS to hurt the Russians further and we do not seem to care that ISIS stolen oil makes that possible. The US, the MIC, NATO, the Pentagon, the CIA, does anyone of those institutions supposedly protecting us, doi anything but work for oil and energy concerns owned by the oligarchy?
There are just too many deals cut that ultimately result in the deaths of our sons and daughters as they fight wars to continue to feed the ravenous reed of the rich. We are constantly at war and the greatest threat to our people was either created by or are the rich oligarchy itself.
Bernie never went far enough when he said climate change is the greatest threat to our nation. He should have just connected the dots to the oligarchy and its never ending pursuit of more wealth in the USA and throughout the world that seeks to prevent us from reining in their destruction of our world with their promotion of consumption of fossil fuels. What a mess, they have created and we must act to get us out of it. The greed of the rich has consumed their logic and to beieve they will now start acting rationally to prevent mankind's and their own destruction is to ignore reality.

As well as the big corporations, generally, and the big banks. Anything else we attempt is largely lip-service without substance.
