Trump stokes GWB suspicion, strikes Christie despite lacking facts [video]

Source: Bergen Record

On the campaign trail, Chris Christie has largely succeeded in cutting off questions about the George Washington Bridge lane closings with this stock reply: Three separate probes failed to find a shred of evidence linking him directly to the political payback scheme.

But Christie didn’t count on his own erstwhile dining partner Donald J. Trump, who reached his own conclusions without subpoenas or emails or a grand jury. Trump says anything he wants, drawing heavily on hearsay and suspicion.

And that’s precisely why Trump is suddenly so dangerous to Christie.

“The George Washington Bridge — [Christie] knew about it,” Trump told a raucous South Carolina audience Monday night, moments after calling for a halt to all Muslim immigration, his latest xenophobic offering to the 2016 presidential campaign. “He totally knew.”

Trump doesn't even need proof or links. He just says it.
Christie has got to be fuming, as well as all repukes who have been running a scam for the nations treasure.

I cringe at the Muslim remarks Trump has made, but if anyone can redirect the conversation to his benefit, it is Donald Trump.
I'm hoping he does so in this instance.
He could come out tomorrow stating that the US should welcome women & children refugees & he would be believed.
I don't know how he gets away with it.

Its like a game of sport to him.

might be telling the truth when he says he didnt know.

Of course he knew, but if people knew what else he has done, like use a COLOR test for who got and did not GET Sandy Relief funds.

If you had political connection and were the right color, you got them, if not, this criminal told you to fuck off.

But only if his debate demands are met. And with his fans, the GOP hasn't much wiggle room.

He can buy his own debate on every news channel & blacklist the entire Republican debate show.

Of course he would feature only Donald Trump.
Ha

He's leading every Republican poll he acknowledges, and now the Republican politicians are all saying he can't be president (except Cruz).

How could this not be a betrayal by the Republican Party?

They either kiss his ring next week or he bails - every state has policies regarding getting on the ballot, "sore loser" rules, third party registration.

He may not really want to be president - but he could easily take the Party down with him!

Well that on stage walk out would be the coup de grace.

A coup de grâce (/ˌkuː də ˈɡrɑːs/; French [ku də ɡʁɑs] for "blow of mercy&quot is a death blow to end the suffering of a severely wounded person or animal or in this case a political party

I may have to suck it up & actually watch the gop debate for the Trump drama.

Christie is a vile sack of pig excrement and needs to go away. And Trump can follow him right out the door.
