Mohammad Abdulazeez, the man who shot and killed five service members during an attack in Chattanooga, Tenn., was a homegrown terrorist motivated by radical propaganda, FBI Director James Comey said Wednesday.

The statements are the first from the agency confirming what many already believed – that the July event were a terrorist act.

"We've investigated Chattanooga as a terror attack from the beginning," Comey said during a Wednesday address in New York. "The Chattanooga killer was inspired by a foreign terror organization. It's hard to entangle which particular source...there are lots of competing poisons out there."

Abdulazeez, a naturalized immigrant from Kuwait, opened fire at two military facilities in Chattanooga on July 16, killing four Marines and a sailor. The shootings prompted outcries over the lack of security at military facilities and raised questions about arming service personnel.

The only difference is the supposed "cause" or "inspiration".

These killers are pathetic impotent losers who want to prove their manhood and gain fear, fame and respect. They want to totally freak out the people (society) that they perceive have disrespected them, alienated them, who have not given them their fair due.

This is true from the drive-by shooter who is wanting to demonstrate his "cred" (manliness) to the loser who kills his wife and kids before he ends his own pitiful life to the pathetic clown who walks into his workplace and massacres his co-workers.

It is not about religion, it is not about politics, it is not about legitimate grievances, it is about losers wanting to fulfill their fantasy of being a feared (and in their minds, respected) MAN, that will be held in awe by those lucky enough to survive the carnage.
