Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour and his wife were briefly forced to "Run Like Hell" - after a bomb scare involving a World War II era German device was found under their mansion.
The drama unfolded when the device was unearthed during renovations of the couple's six-story East Sussex mansion in southern England Thursday, forcing a brief evacuation of the premises, Classic Rock magazine reported.

(14,549 posts)It would have been absolutely curtains and could have caused brain damage. I told them to relax and 'breathe, breathe in the air' the experts will remove the bomb.
Gilmour said "we called the bomb squad hours ago. Is there anybody out there? what shall we use to fill the empty spaces (where the bomb was)? and how shall I complete the wall renovations?
I answered "Hey you, have a cigar. Stay. Speak to me. Give it some Time."

(6,241 posts)Seems a little TOO British for a member of Pink Floyd. It seems like it would be more in line for someone in 1940's London.
I'm sure the bomb feels the same way.
