LONDON — Up to 100 masked men threatened to attack refugee children in central Stockholm on Friday, according to local police accounts. Fredrik Nylén, a spokesman for Stockholm police, told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, that several men had been arrested because they may have gathered “with the purpose of attacking refugee children.”

The police said that up to 100 men were involved in a march through the city center during which they allegedly handed out leaflets which threatened punishments for “north African street children roaming” Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.

“It’s enough now,” the leaflets reportedly say, referring to the recent influx of refugees into the country. It also encouraged other men to “defend our public areas against the imported criminality.”

Both Swedish news site the Local, as well as British paper the Independent, reported that the men physically attacked refugees on Friday, but there was no official confirmation for this as of Saturday.

This is frankly just awful. It's watching a society break down in front of your eyes. But until the gangs of criminals are controlled, the risk of this sort of thing is going to be very high. If the police don't have the ability to get children and adolescents committing multiple crimes off the streets, the locals will.

In short, Sweden offers generous benefits and housing to minors as well as a guarantee for family reunification. They also don't ask questions. Little surprise 97% of all "unaccompanied minors" are male and more than a few look a little long in the tooth.

8. The police stopping the criminals

on both sides. Stop giving breaks to the migrants. That's what pisses people off and makes them want to fight back. Let the country see that you are protecting them, and they will get behind you. Cover up crimes and arrest people for speaking out about it, and they'll resort to violence. Because what else can they do? You got a criminal population that seems politically protected from the consequences of their own actions. They seem untouchable by cops. That would piss anyone off.

There was a story here a few years ago. Couple's underage daughter ran off and lived with a known pimp. Teenage rebellion thing. I don't know the reasoning, but the police refused to do anything about it. The parents eventually shot the pimp to death. They were trying to protect their daughter when the police wouldn't.

When citizens can't rely on the law and police to help them, worse stuff happens. The social contract was violated by the authorities.
