My prayer is that we'll never know because she won't be the nominee. If and when she is the nominee, it will be too late to worry about who is more electible in the general. Anyway, the thread is about Texas. I don't think she'll carry Texas in the general, even if she does have Castro as her VP.

Because we won't win them in the general. The democrats in the south are every bit as important as the ones in the west, northeast, etc. Their votes matter and their states matter. Our primary process, like the general, requires a vote in all 50 states, not just a select few,

I don't know if you can get signs delivered. Is there a Bernie headquarters somewhere in your state?

Jason Whitely , WFAA 11:10 PM. CST February 24, 2016

DALLAS - Six days before Super Tuesday, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are now tied in Texas, according to a new public opinion poll commissioned by WFAA-TV.

Cruz and Trump both had 32 percent support from likely and actual GOP primary voters, with a 3.9 percent margin of error.

It is the most recent survey of Texas voters and the first one to show Cruz no longer leading in his home state.

“He’s fading,” said Cal Jillson, professor of political science at Southern Methodist University, of Ted Cruz’s candidacy. “Trump has proven to be stronger and more resilient than anyone expected.”

Marco Rubio is a distant third in the WFAA Texas TEGNA poll with 17 percent, John Kasich has 6 percent, Ben Carson has 5 percent and another 5 percent of respondents remain undecided, the poll revealed.

The short form:

1) Texas was a blue state, before Karl Rove, Tom Delay, et.al. did a power grab. Remember Barbara Jordan? Remember Ann Richards?

2) Texas, demographically, has become MORE blue. We are a majority minority state now, and have big, progressive majorities around Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.

3) Texas could flip to blue this year, in my humble opinion, if Donald "baby-hands" Trump is the GOP nominee and Hillary is the Dems pick. Then watch out Ted Cruz! You lose your seat in 2018!

With the two biggest delegate states (California and Texas) in the blue column, no Republican will win the white house in the next 30 years!

Happy clappy enough for ya? :-D
