Ted Cruz Blocks Emergency Relief To Flint But Demanded Aid For Texas

Source: Right Wing Watch

According to a report in Politico, Sen. Ted Cruz is standing in the way of a bipartisan relief package for the city of Flint, Michigan, where residents suffered lead poisoning as a result of a catastrophic budget-saving move from the governor’s office. The Texas Republican placed a hold on the aid bill even after Senate Democrats agreed to concessions in spending, stopping the bill from coming to a vote by the full Senate. Before blocking the measure, Cruz responded to the Flint water crisis by distributing bottled water to anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers in the city. This is far from Cruz’s first go-around in holding up emergency aid bills: He also opposed aid for victims of Hurricane Sandy. However, the presidential candidate is more than happy to request federal dollars for relief projects in his home state. Cruz pushed for such aid last year following deadly floods in Texas, and in 2013 he demanded aid after an explosion at a Texas fertilizer plant.

I read an article, who knows where, and it concerned a growing social media meme that Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer.

Ted was in 2nd or 3rd grade at the time, but how about his dad?

He certainly acts as though it's his mission to prostalicize the world and a drive as such could lead to a lot of shit.

Why not Rafael.

I can't find out a lot of his bio, at least year to year, but during the time of the killings he was living in New Orleans and had a job in the oil industry.

Did he/the family do a lot of traveling and if so where, Los Angeles.

The more I type I realize even my 10% part of my brain that sort of thinks this could be possible is revolting and maybe 1% still thinks it's possible.

And that little part may just be disguised hope

My opinion on Cruz is based mainly on the money he cost the Governments in the shutdowns, plus he is dedicated to have his church take over the Government , turning it into a Theocracy like Iran.

Further, he plays to the mean side of human nature. He seems to attract people who get pleasure out of being cruel.
His unwillingness to help those people on Flint , MI is an illustration of this. He followers are mean as Hell.

This has been my pet peeve, for want of a better term, for a long time. Even when dems hold a majority they let this shit rip. It makes me nuts that a wingnut like Cruz can single-handedly commit such an abject act of villainy. Without repercussions.

He looks like a corpse with too much makeup on and his "policies" are beyond disgusting. Is it any wonder not one of his "fellow senators" has endorsed him?

As much as I despise der trumpenfuhrer it would be the world's biggest LOL if he beat Scruzball in the Texas primary.

Someone that cold hearted has to be an atheist right? At least an agnostic.

Do any of those religious freaks even read the bible? What function(s) do they think the government should serve?
