Unless Fox wants to prove how much they really despise Hillary, in which case they'll give Bernie the last word.

process. A real Democrat isn't afraid to enlighten the dark side and just might make a convert or two. Hillary is a latecomer and no doubt had a change of heart once the polls revealed that the gap is narrowing in Michigan. Well played, Bernie.

So, yeah... your calls for clarity, and the big picture? They're targeted at the wrong group.

I'm thinking she is going on to undermine his message. Bernie picked up supporters at Liberty U when he spoke there. The last couple of GOP debates have been a disaster. He has a chance to really pick up a lot of support from this town hall. I think she'll spend most of her time bashing his policies. You know, damage control.

Just a guess. But, if she spends all her time trying to sell herself? Good on her. I hope she proves me wrong.

their base loathes her, because they had been feed lies and distortions for over 20 years, but make no mistake about it, the corporate overlords prefer a self-serving "pragmatist" over a revolutionary who would put an end to their rule.

so, even after Hillary's scheduling conflict.

IMO, it would have been a political mistake for her to let him do such a thing alone. Also, IMO, it does not reflect well on Bernie agreeing to do a "Town Hall" anywhere by himself, just as it would not have reflected well on Hillary doing the same.

I'll wait to see whether I get a hide simply for stating my opinion about this.

Sat Mar 5, 2016, 06:11 PM
Mar 2016

Not because Fox is reputable, but because in this day and age, many people are only exposed to one viewpoint. There are millions of Fox viewers who never hear the other side and have no idea what it even is. It seems strange to us because we are politically motivated and search out factual information, but it is nevertheless the way it is. This may be the first opportunity they have had to hear the Democratic candidates in long form, rather than in very selective sound bites. Bernie, certainly, has nothing to lose and a lot to gain because his views are attractive to many of the disillusioned Republican and Independent Fox viewers. Hillary is unlikely to gain support - I suspect she has decided to do the Town Hall simply to tear down Bernie.

This is a good opportunity to spread a bit of truth to those unfamiliar with it.

Sat Mar 5, 2016, 11:18 AM
Mar 2016

My guess is that people in the ''dark'', as it were, will choose to remain in the dark. Isn't that usually how it works? The only reason their viewership would watch, would be to see if the panel really ''sticks'' it to them. Of course Bernie will put them in their place, I don't know how Hillary will respond when the ''Bengazi B.S." will begin. I suppose those FOX twits will go there. Who knows, maybe some of their viewership will watch .. that is if it doesn't coincide with ''Duck Dynasty".
