North Korea releases propaganda film showing Washington under nuclear attack
Source: The Guardian
North Korea released a new propaganda video menacingly titled Last Chance, showing a submarine-launched nuclear missile laying waste to Washington and concluding with the US flag in flames.
The four-minute video, set to jaunty music, romps through the history of US-Korean relations and ends with a digitally manipulated sequence showing a missile surging through clouds, swerving back to the earth and slamming into the road in front of Washingtons Lincoln Memorial.

Even Russia is warning Pyongyang to tone down the rhetoric. This is heating up.

(26,322 posts)do anything major? No.
Why? Because the North Korean leadership is really only concerned with only one thing and one thing only, staying in power and if they tried anything like a first strike with a nuclear weapon on the US or even on South Korea they know that both the US and China would likely come down on their ass like the hammer of god and they would be out of power if not dead soon afterwards.

(2,484 posts)The difference between now and decades ago is that they actually do have nuclear weapons.
All it takes to set of the DMZ is another shelling or sub-sinking.
The military assets we have deployed there right now are suspiciously larger than usual for our Foal Eagle exercises. B-2, F22, etc.
Just be aware.
