ISIS threatens Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison with ‘fatal punishment’ for their involvement in politics as Muslims

The magazine singled out longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin and U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) as “politically active apostates” who “involve themselves in the politics of the kufr,” meaning disbelievers, ABC News reported Wednesday.

ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is quoted elsewhere in the article as saying that those “who are caught before they repent, then there is no amnesty for them and their shall be a painful — and fatal — punishment,” the report says.

A rep for the Clinton campaign declined comment, but Ellison tweeted out a statement about the threat referring to ISIS as Daesh, an acronym the group hates.

“As millions of faithful Muslims flee Daesh’s imposed nightmare they call a ‘caliphate’, Daesh takes the time to threaten Muslim servants in the West, like myself and my friend Huma Abedin. Daesh is a collection of liars, murderers, terrorists and rapists. No Muslim I know recognizes what they preach as al-Islam,” he said.

She is with Hillary on the campaign trail; I saw a photo of them together just within the past few days.

The Secret Service does more than just protect a few people. They have also in the past been called upon to protect citizens - often very rich citizens - who have been threatened.

5 minutes to be too concerned with Ellison and Abedin. We're all getting into the sport of vaporizing ISIS skulls--the Syrians, the Russians, the Iraqis, us, not so much Turkey. Their propaganda wing is making a little noise, but they're too busy trying to wriggle out of their death warrants to be concerned with much else right now.

That's one of the issues with expecting moderate Muslims to somehow deal with these people within their own communities. If it becomes known, they face a death penalty from these horrible people with their horrible ideology.

Both Ellison and Abedin should receive US protection. We must not let this sort of thing go unchallenged.
