Daredevil Wallenda aims to make history with Niagara Falls walk

Mr. Wallenda likes to say that his dangerous feats are a mind game more than anything.
He is not going into this feat with full peace of mind, however.
He hasnt found as many sponsors as he expected and the TV deal with ABC (CTV has the broadcast rights in Canada) is offsetting only part of his costs. He attempted to raise $50,000 (U.S.) online but on Thursday had only gotten pledges for less than $20,000.
ABC also required him to be tethered, which Mr. Wallenda feared would undercut his feat while hampering his movement.

Why be hostile?
I don't understand the death predictions.

Wallenda is the one who put "death' into the equation. To me that's his choice and he should be allowed to risk his own life. The operation of Fukishima on the other hand, makes us all daredevils, whether we choose to be or not.
If he wants to do something risky that doesn't involve death may I suggest any of the following:
- investing in FaceBook stock
- posting in GD
- betting on Ron Paul to become the GOP nominee, or
- believing anything Mitt Romney says
