Person on bridge conspiracy list wants it kept from public

By DAVID PORTER and JOSH CORNFIELD

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- Someone included in a list set to be released of people involved in the 2013 lane closures in New Jersey near the George Washington Bridge filed a court motion late Thursday asking a judge to intervene anonymously to oppose its release, arguing it would unfairly brand them a criminal.

The motion asks a federal judge to let the person identified as John Doe intervene to stop the release of a list of unindicted co-conspirators the government has been ordered to release by Friday at noon after a media request from organizations including The Associated Press.

The motion says the man will be "publicly branded a felon without due process of law, causing him immediate and irreparable reputational harm."

It was filed by attorney Jenny Kramer, of the high-profile New York firm Chadbourne and Parke. It wasn't immediately clear if Judge Susan Wigenton would rule on the motion before the documents were released.

he come forward and tell everyone what happened and who was in the room-------------a person died one day because they couldn't get to a hospital, the person that died had gone into cardiac arrest , or had a heart attack, the ambulance couldn't get to the hospital, lanes were shut down to only one lane and the nearby town was gridlocked ---------------or did this person forget this little fact?

The person or persons that created that mess in my opinion should be charged with manslaughter

I don't want my wife to think I might have been involved in criminal activity. Please tell that mean prosecutor Feinstein to take my name off the list.

Release of list of 'Bridgegate' co-conspirators delayed

BY JOSEPH AX

A federal judge in New Jersey has extended the deadline to Tuesday for U.S. prosecutors to release a list of unindicted co-conspirators in the "Bridgegate" scandal, while she weighs a request from an individual on the list to keep it sealed.

U.S. District Judge Susan Wigenton in Newark earlier this week had ordered the office of U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman for New Jersey to file the list by noon EDT (1600 GMT) on Friday after a consortium of media companies filed a motion seeking the information.

The court document could reveal how many individuals in the administration of Governor Chris Christie had been aware of the scheme to close down lanes at the George Washington Bridge, a major commuter link to New York City, in what prosecutors say was an act of political retaliation against a local mayor.

Christie, a Republican who ran unsuccessfully for his party's presidential nomination this year, has denied knowledge of the plot.

The people on the list have been described in court filings as individuals who joined the conspiracy but have not been criminally charged.
