Mitt Romney Ohio Campaign Stop Interrupted By Protesters

Source: Huffingtonpost

TROY, Ohio -- Protesters shouted throughout Mitt Romney's campaign appearance in Ohio with House Speaker John Boehner.

Romney on Sunday gave an abbreviated campaign speech from the bed of a pickup truck in Boehner's hometown of Troy. A small but noisy group of protestors shouted throughout his speech, which lasted about six minutes. The protesters shouted, "Romney go home!"

That area is definitely not a liberal bastion and I hope this kind of rude behavior will stop on both sides.

If RMoney/Robme wants to have a "rally" a half a block from the Dem HQ, he deserves to get a little pushback.

He has money, we have people.

They could of been there; disruptive and all... telling the republicans to go home...the Democratic group just seems to be targeted as disruptor's via assumption in the Huffington Post article...no supporting evidence to the claim that the Democratic group was unruly.

Normally, I don't condone this sort of behavior. However, these people also likely were high-fiving each other when that asshole heckled the President on Friday. If you're going to dish that kind of shit out, you better be prepared to take it yourself.

Maybe it's a sign that Ohio is finally waking up to the right wing Republican bullshit. And the hell with letting him speak. Why, so he can tell more bald-faced lies about almost every topic he talks about? Fuck him. This was great!

As to the belligerent A**hole that Neil Munro displayed when the President of the United State was speaking, this works both ways. I agree that Romney should go home-in others, he needs to crawl back under the rock that he came out from under.

three years now, and look what's happened?

When the Teabaggers act like petty, racist children, they get nonstop, media-friendly coverage, an American populace that have largely been duped by their ideas, and record filibusters and obstruction in the halls of Congress.

Frankly, I'm sick of being the grown up here. We continue to lose elections as a result. I'm not suggesting that nastiness is the key, but we need to be more forceful, less softspoken and milquetoast. It's not doing us any favors.

Not once have the Teabaggers ever acted like anything remotely resembling adults. We keep hearing them spew "Elections have consequences!" BS regarding the 2010, despite their never ever having accepted the consequences of the 2008 election. It's all their childish "It's my way or the highway" crap, regardless of what is the will of the people. These bullies don't understand what it means to act like an adult. The only cure their antics, if there is any, is giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Last week's horror was this:

http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/06/romney-campaign-bus-circling-honking-at-obama-supporters.php

Romney’s campaign bus — adorned with the words “Conservative. Businessman. Leader” today repeatedly honked at and took several laps around a group of Obama supporters before a campaign speech to be given by President Obama in Cleveland today, according to a tweet by CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller.

I find no corporate media spouting this huh? No corporate media claiming that he is a coward? Nope. The bus knew and was afraid.

2008 - Barry confronted a women who refused his hand, but he not knowing still cared about her.

that repukes step all over progressives and liberals with impunity.........They KNOW that at the very worst we'll only complain about the the way we're treated.

I get so tired of being affiliated with a group of weak-kneed people who seem so powerless that no one thinks twice about disrespecting them............

We should stop being so nice - we should heckle their stupid candidates and ridicule their stupid positions. We should pointedly ask the questions that the media won't. And if their candidate won't answer, we should KEEP asking those questions.
