Tropical Storm Bonnie forms in Atlantic

Tropical Storm Bonnie, the second named storm of the 2016 Atlantic basin hurricane season, has formed off the southeast coast of the U.S., according to the National Hurricane Center.
At 5 p.m., the center of Bonnie was located at 31.1 degrees north, 79.4 degrees west. The storm was moving northwest at 10 mph and it has maximum sustained winds of 40 mph.
The center was expected to make landfall along the coast of South Carolina by Sunday.

(16,383 posts)Amelia Island to be exact, it borders Fla-la-la. Thought it might be a nice place to retire. Love the ecosystem down there. Am I crazy to want to move to the Atlantic Coast?
