Second airline suspends flights to Venezuela

The largest airline in Latin America, Latam, is suspending its flights to Venezuela because of the worsening economic situation.
The move came a day after Germany's Lufthansa suspended flights to the country.
The decisions occur as oil-rich Venezuela faces high inflation and a shortage of basic goods due to the global drop in oil prices.

(3,660 posts)Supplies they need are hard to come by, the "natives" are getting restless and eventually the corrupt dictatorship will try to cling on (or failing that cash out) via confiscated assets. Who'd want to take that risk?
