Obama endorsement coming as Clinton allies plan for unity push

Source: CNN

With Hillary Clinton set on Tuesday to secure enough delegates and become the presumptive Democratic nominee, the White House is signaling that Obama's full endorsement could come as early as this week.

White House officials and Democratic aides are still determining how and when Obama, along with Vice President Joe Biden, will throw their formal endorsements behind Clinton and her campaign. Eager to exploit his recent spike in popularity, Obama is looking to become the most active lame duck campaigner in recent presidential history.

Even as Sen. Bernie Sanders pledges to keep fighting until the Democratic convention, Clinton and her allies are planning a major push to unify the party behind her candidacy, including a high-profile endorsement Obama is poised to deliver as soon as this week, two Democrats familiar with the effort tell CNN.

While he has formally remained neutral in the race between Clinton and the Vermont independent senator, Obama has inched closer and closer to Clinton's side in recent weeks and will take the final step after the last round of states vote on Tuesday. The Clinton campaign in Brooklyn is working with the White House to coordinate the effort.

9. It's the people Hillary's going to need -- maybe she can win with only half the votes?

Are you really so blind you don't see this? It's people like you who might keep me from voting for Hillary.

There's no one to steamroll. There's no one in her way for the nomination.

I can't say I am surprised. If she is elected, she will move to support Obama's signature post-presidential income generator. So, he gets rich, she gets power, and we get screwed.

TPP WILL pass after the election, they have no doubt. I DO feel this will happen too even though so many of US know it won't be good for this country. Still, many of us have seen this coming for a very long time. I don't watch ANY MSM and the blah, blah, blah of NON-INFORMATION that is fed to gullible people, but there ARE many alternative news networks that WILL report FACTS!

I suppose there's a thing called HOPE that is so freely used, but I'm afraid to go there since very little comes true. If I wanted to be selfish I suppose I could IGNORE this because my husband and I are already retired and depending on how long we live we may not have to deal with the consequences. However, my dear father ALWAYS told me to think hard about what I believed in and to think what it might mean to those who will live after me. I have a daughter and a son who have children and I'm SURE they'll have to deal with what's to become of this once "Beacon Of Democracy!" But, like those who followed the fictional Pied Piper it seems too many are too willing to sell out FOR A WIN, just to say... WE WON!

I wish I didn't feel like this and I've tried so very hard NOT to get to this point, but sometimes the hand writing on the wall is in NEON LIGHTS and is continually blinking.
