Donald Trump has made it a habit to mention and tweet out favorable poll numbers throughout the course of his campaign. But on Friday, the presumptive Republican nominee thanked his millions of followers for the results of a national survey that showed him losing to Hillary Clinton.

Can the man run a more incompetent campaign than this one? I would never advocate complacency from our side but its stunning how badly his campaign has performed and its mostly on him.

(22,037 posts)It seems that Donald Trump careens from day to day without any over-all strategy. There's a complete lack of focus in the manner that he bounces around so his campaign is utterly without cohesion or continuity.

He can't even be bothered to make a few phone calls? Its shocking. I'm not one for conspiracy theories but there are times I wonder if he really wants this job at all.

(101,321 posts)It's Q8 - a choice of Hillary and Trump with nothing else. Q9, which gives an 'other', is Hillary 50%, Trump 45%, Other 5%.
But I seem to remember Gravis was a fairly unreliable presidential poll in 2012, overstating Romney's vote. That 45% is teh best he's had since May 29th.
