Trump tweet evoking anti-Semitic imagery first posted on fringe message board

(CNN)Donald Trump on Saturday deleted a tweet critical of Hillary Clinton after he came under fire for evoking anti-Semitic stereotypes with a graphic that included dollar bills and a six-pointed star.
But 10 days earlier, the same graphic appeared on an Internet message board loaded with anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and neo-Nazi ideology.

The image was posted by an anonymous account on June 22 at 2:16 a.m. EDT in response to a post pointing to news reports that Russian hackers may have breached the Clinton Foundation's computer systems.
Mic.com first reported that the image appeared on the website. CNN confirmed the report using the internet archiving site the Wayback Machine, which allows users to search archived content on websites from days, months and even years earlier.

7. I'm sorry but anyone who thinks THAT was a Star of David is just ridiculous.

I showed that tweet to a dozen friends who knew nothing of the story and asked them what was wrong with it. They gave about 6 different answers. When i told them what the fuss was over, every one of them laughed.

Trump says & does enough ACTUAL stupid shit without making stuff up like this.

Think your friends can correctly identify it? Well, let me tell you what it is especially since I created it; it is a STAR OF DAVID. Now, it isn't an ordinary one, but let's see if you can figure out why that is.

As for the situation, the image was taken from a right-wing neo-Nazi site, so yes, it is a fucking STAR OF DAVID and its placement has a VERY specific meaning. The only thing you should find humorous in this situation are some of the people feigning outrage over it.

I didnt screen them for "jewishness" before I asked them. I do know 2 of them ARE Jewish, but i have no idea of the rest. But I also know that a few others are long time Democratic Party activists, are far more in tune with the party than I am.
None of which matters. I see actual anti jewish stuff HERE all the time. It frustrates me to no end how quickly a lot of members here will jump on the anti-Israel bandwagon. And i stand against those attacks any time I see them. but THIS is just a stretch. HAd it looked like an actual Star of David, I'd feel completely different. But it looks just like images I've seen in ad flyers advertising a "big sale" with "25% off!" inside one.
