States Trump lost have bad seats at Republican convention

Backed someone else during the Republican primary? Your state may be paying for it at the conventions.

The seating chart for the 2016 convention is out and it looks like states that voted for Republican candidates other than Donald Trump are toward the back or side.

Many of the states that backed Ted Cruz —Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming — are away from the front.

Ohio, which voted for its own governor, John Kasich, but is also a host of the event, is on the side of the stage. Kasich is not scheduled to address the convention.

You would think that Trump might try to mend fences in States that he lost, but Trump is just too much of a vindictive SOB.

It's not like the actual real Republicans are going to show up at this hatefest on the lakeshore. Only the truly uber-deranged losers are going to be there. Maybe we should evacuate the city except for those who really want to attend and then quarantine them until December.

Pushing the dissenters to the sides and back leaves his strongest support front and center for the media. It's all about staging and optics, not reconciliation.

Happens every 4 years in both parties. It will happen at the Democratic Convention also. Someone has to have the bad seats.
