Biden torches Trump in first campaign appearance for Clinton
Source: The Hill
Vice President Biden on Monday championed Hillary Clinton as the best leader for the American middle class as he made his first stop for the Democratic nominee in his birthplace of Scranton, Pa.
Biden drew a series of rousing ovations from the crowd in a folksy speech that played up his and Clintons family connections to Scranton, a former mining town that will play a major role in deciding the contest between Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump.
If you care about your job decent pay, if you worry about your childrens education theres only one person in this election who will possibly help you, and that is Hillary Clinton, Biden said at his first joint rally with the Democratic nominee. Clintons father hails from the northeast Pennsylvania town and Biden was born there. Both recalled childhood memories and how they embraced the towns working-class values.
What Hillary is all about is making sure every one of you can look your child or grandchild in the eye and say, I mean this sincerely, honey, everything is going to be OK, Biden said. She gets it.

Anyone who heard it would be giving it a lot of serious thought. "Our soldiers are two clicks in greater danger now because of Trump's words."

SCRANTON, Pa. Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. warned sternly on Monday that Donald J. Trump posed a clear and present threat to the United States, even as a candidate, condemning the Republican presidential nominee in his first campaign appearance with Hillary Clinton.
Alternating between hushed intensity and trademark zeal, Mr. Biden made the case, in searingly personal terms, that Mr. Trump had already become a danger to United States security.
He said that if his son Beau, who died of brain cancer last year, were still serving in Iraq, he would advise him that the danger had increased a couple clicks because of Mr. Trumps remarks, which have included the suggestion that President Obama is the founder of ISIS, an acronym for the Islamic State.
And he said that on a planned upcoming trip to Kosovo and Serbia, he would be compelled to reassure allies that the United States would honor its commitment to NATO, given Mr. Trumps comments saying he would reassess the arrangement if elected.
This guys shame has no limits, Mr. Biden said.....................
