NBA star Dwayne Wade's cousin Nykea Aldridge was fatally shot Friday pushing a child in a stroller in a Chicago.

Less than 24 hours later, Donald Trump said her death was evidence that African-Americans will vote for him in November.

The tweet Saturday morning is just the latest tone deaf comment by Trump as he attempts to reach out the African American community.

Trump has struggled to galvanize even a small share of the African-American voters, but this week has tried to make an appeal by falling many times on offensive stereotypes of African-American neighborhoods. Many times addressing mostly white audiences, Trump has called African-American neighborhoods "war zones" and asked them “what do you have to lose?"..............................

As well as delusional. I hate to say this,but Chicago has had a crime problem for a very long time now. Does he think the African American people of Chicago haven't lived through republican presidents before? And he is going to fix it in Chicago? And not only fix it,but fix it quick? I'm convinced whenever republican politicians latch on to a story like this about African Americans or other minorities. They are not really speaking to those minority groups,but really talking to whites that have a deep seeded bigotry towards minorities. It is their coded way of saying to whites look at those ignorant African Americans they don't agree with our policies especially economic policies that have been proven not to work and proven to be harmful for minority communities. So look at where their at now.

Then they talk about most major cities have democratic mayors. While conveniently ignoring the fact almost all state legislatures are controlled by republicans. So any programs that democrats can put together to reduce crime or poverty republicans can make sure that they are badly under funded.
