Obama Lists His Accomplishments At Clinton Rally: 'Thanks, Obama'

During a campaign rally for Hillary Clinton in Philadelphia, President Obama thanked himself after listing his accomplishments while in office, a nod to the "Thanks, Obama" meme.

"I've seen in America that for all the challenges, for all the noise of the politics, still has the capacity to come together and do great things," he said. "We fought our way back from the worst recession in 80 years. We turned around a declining economy. We helped our auto industry set new records. Our businesses created 15 million new jobs. Slashed our dependence on foreign oil. Doubled our production of clean energy. Made marriage equality a reality in all 50 states."

Obama continued to list achievements from his two terms in office, including the death of Osama Bin Laden, new diplomatic relations with Cuba, and the nuclear deal with Iran. "By so many measures, America’s stronger and more prosperous than when we started out on this journey together," he said. "Republicans don't like to hear good news right now. But it's important just to understand this is a big deal. More Americans are working. More have health insurance. Incomes are rising. Poverty is falling."

"Thanks, Obama," he concluded, turning the meme on its head.

3. I would like to see ads

On TV with a list of his accomplishments. Trump, and the other idiots in the GOP, are saying we don't want another 4 years of Obama because he was so "terrible". We need to get out the facts on how much better things are, and compare it to how much worse it will be if Trump ever became president. When someone like Trump is running, and a huge chunk of his own party can't stand him, something is wrong. When the man stands up and trashes minorities, women, religious groups, vets, etc. it should be a warning sign that this person should never take office of any kind, let alone the highest office in the country.

The President always says Hillary's more qualified than any man or woman to be President.since she is running against Trump he should say Hillary's more qualified than any man woman or child.it would drive Trump up the freaking wall.

8. Never any doubt in my mind that President Obama will go down as one of the greatest presidents

at this point, when history considers all the obstruction that he had to deal with. Mitch McConnell should be in the dock for treason. An elected congressional leader who proudly announces he'll fight the President at every turn? Wait! Doesn't he have constituents who have needs that have nothing to do with Republican assholes hating any Dem occupant of any elected office,especially the occupant of the Oval Office? Why are the states who are sending these jerks to Congress not wanting a functioning government?

There seems to be a relationship between democrats and accomplishments. The other relationship, only converse form the democratic model, is republicans and public debt, cronyism, corruption, actual scandals and not having anything to show for their time as public servants.
