Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump Respond to Leak of Personally Scathing Colin Powell Emails

............The Republican presidential candidate took to his medium of choice, Twitter, to respond to a leaked email that had Powell calling him a "national disgrace" and an "international pariah."
"I was never a fan of Colin Powell after his weak understanding of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq = disaster. We can do much better!" he wrote.

Meanwhile, Clinton said during a phone interview on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, that she related to Powell's email scandal but wouldn't comment on the remarks he made about her.
"I have a great deal of respect for Colin Powell, and I have a lot of sympathy for anyone whose emails become public," she said.

There is more material to work with these days, yet the level of political comedy falls short of the Watergate days.
No David Frye, George Carlin, and so on.......making our sides hurt from laughing as they point out what's going on...
Today for example Colin Powell thru his leaked emails is providing ample material for free...
His leaked emails do remind me of the Watergate days when Mark Russell would get laughs by just pulling the paper out of the AP Teleprinter and reading the news out loud. (I think he called it 'rip and read').
