Trump adviser in Florida resigns, citing discomfort with campaign 'direction'

Source: Politico

A Donald Trump aide in Florida resigned Friday over concerns she has with the direction of the campaign, according to Bloomberg.

“It is clear the campaign is now going in a direction I am no longer comfortable with and I have decided to move on,” Healy Baumgardner, a longtime GOP operative, told Bloomberg.

The resignation follows a series of late-night tweets from Trump's account directed at former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, whose story of insulting treatment by Trump was cited by Hillary Clinton in Monday's presidential debate.

When he was a top executive with the Miss Universe pageant, Trump called Machado “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping.” Machado was crowned Miss Venezuela in 1996.

At least she quit before the election. Maybe the clinton camp might reach out to her? Big tent here, yes?

People with integrity would have left long ago, I think we will see more of this.

It is never too late to do the right thing.

this entire episode may prompt an open spontaneous national
conversation about abuse of all types, narcissistic personality
disorder as well as psychopaths, sociopaths, bullying, dominance.

It's all the same root: personality, and sub-cultures, and the way
personality develops and grows throughout life.

I think many people working for Trump will see that it's time to jump ship in the coming weeks. If they stay, and keep up their lying for him, their future will be very dim. I think once they realize that they will be linked to any more of the shit Trump spews out, those with half a brain will jump ship. Those who stay will go down with Trump.
