Trump Campaign: We Paid For Bill Clinton's Accusers To Be At The Debate

Source: Talking Points Memo

By LAUREN FOX Published OCTOBER 10, 2016, 12:57 AM EDT

The Trump campaign said it paid for three women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct to come to the debate.

Politico reported Sunday that Trump spokesperson Hope Hicks said that the Trump campaign had picked up the tab for their travel.

"They were our invited guests," Hicks told Politico.

But Politico also reported that Broaddrick had told reporters that the right wing news outlet Breitbart had actually paid for her travel.

There is a caveat to it, though. Recall that the Reagan Administration repealed the "Fairness Doctrine" which required, among other regulations, that differing political points of view be accorded equal time on the public's airwaves. Therein lies the issue. Today, very few Americans receive their television signals through broadcast signals. Most of the public's television is delivered by cable which is not regulated by the Federal Communications Commission. Although there are some broad federal rules, cable regulations are administered predominantly by state and local controls.

It sucks, but there it is.

$5 grand apiece yesterday..these gals were bought for cheap! What a bunch of losers. So desperate to be in the spotlight again, they sell their privacy and what's left of their dignity, at their ages, when a woman should know better. And broke-ass Drumpf isn't even the one who coughs it up, but his minions do! This is too good.

...when you have a young and pretty lady talking of her illicit affair with the president a year or two ago, that no one knew about till now, it sells and the news channels will be all over it. When you have, essentially, a grandmother on the cover of a tabloid talking of how she had an affair 30 years ago with the president's husband, and everyone already knows this....

Anyone paying these ladies to keep harping on their stories is wasting their money. Especially after the election.

Bannon and Jarod Kushner, the son-in-law. Yesterday I had wondered what kind of guy Kushner was, to hear this old fart call his own daughter and Kushner's wife, a piece of ass. How does one process this and remain cordial? I guess this is the answer; he doesn't care. The power/money dynamic is too powerful even when someone you love is being insulted. This whole bunch is just beneath contempt. There are no depths to which they won't sink. And I'm getting really sick of Trump the insult dog making disgusting statements and then saying it was a joke. The only joke here is him.

Is that these woman accepted money to attend in order to rattle Hillary and to somehow sway voters against her!

They accepted money from one serial sex abuser in order to bash the spouse of another serial sex abuser.

I suppose the irony of the situation escapes them.

1. Bill Clinton is not running for office and 2. in no way can Hillary be blamed for what he did. (I detest the RW propaganda claiming that Hillary is a "lesbian." No, I'm not an anti-gay bigot, it's just that that lie is fucking nonsense.) And...3. If, by their logic, she had some responsibility for Bill's behavior , then so do all of tRump's wives.

So, yes, shame on them.

Broaddrick testified UNDER OATH that Bill Clinton did not rape her.
So either she perjured herself back then, or is lying now to sell the book she wants people to buy, her "life story."

Gennifer Flowers is still selling tapes of her conversations with Bill Clinton, but refuses completely to release unedited versions.

Paula Jones had a nose job with money she got from the right-wing, and then had a "boxing match" with Tonya Harding, where she got her bell rung on national TV.
Then she did a spread (literally) in the sleazy magazine Penthouse, and said the right-wing "used her."

is that Trump would call everyone of those women that were in that room with him, a pig, or comment on their fat ass or their old face, but he's fine sitting there acting all self-righteous, like he's some kind of champion for women. The man is just so disgusting & vile I don't know how anyone can vote for him.
