Curt Schilling defends Donald Trump’s comment about young girl

On a 1992 tape brought to light by CBS on Wednesday, Trump said of young girl, “I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?”

Schilling appeared on Fox Business with Trish Regan on Thursday and defended the Republican presidential nominee's comments by arguing that the host must have had similar thoughts about her friends’ sons.

When Regan said that she hadn’t, Schilling said, “See, that's a lie. There's no way you haven't seen someone else's son and said, "Wow, he's beautiful.”

Schilling has also expressed interest on numerous occasions in running for public office himself. In August, he said he wanted to run for U.S. senate against Democratic incumbent Elizabeth Warren. He said last month that there is a “realistic possibility” he runs for president in eight years.
